Chance Me Please

GPA: 3.75 UW 4.03 W

SAT I: 2250 (770 W, 760 CR, 720 M)

SAT II: 690 Math II, 710 US History

AP Tests: 5 US, 4 Calc AB

Course Load: Will have taken 6 APs by graduation, all the rest honors

ECs: a lot, dont want to bore you

anyone? are they really that bad?

btw Im from san diego

well, Vandy looks a lot on your essay and your EC’s, so if you would let us know what those were about, that might help. But your SAT score is rockin!

However, I have a few friends (in my class) that had a perfect ACT/SAT score and got rejected. So EC’s seriously, seriously matter at Vandy.

Geography is in your favor. Vandy, like all the elite schools, wants a national student body.

-never rely on geography to get in.
-if you want a realistic “chance,” then give us your ECs.
-Your quantifiable stats are on the low side, but not terrible.
-San Diego does NOT, in fact, work in your favor. The only place that would is 1. another country, or 2. random states that don’t provide students to vandy (like montana, north/south dakota, etc.)
-if your recs are good, that’s always a plus. Remember, there are a bajillion (accurate number) students out there with 34’s and high GPAs, it’s your ECs and just… in general things that make you a unique person that make you get in.

Good Luck!! I’d like to meetchya next year :D
