<p>Penguinlover, definately give it a shot. Your class rank might be slighly low for the Honors college, but you have a good SAT score, particularlly in math, so that may help. I am told that USC doesn’t really give a lot of weight to extra curriculars, but in a close decision that may put you over the top. </p>
<p>You are even more likely to be accepted as an IB major, but I don’t think you can be admitted into that program until the end of your sophomore year (not sure about that). Most of the time, the specific major is not neccesarally a consideration when they are accepting freshmen students.</p>
<p>Also, I you seem to be very interested in music, if you are interested in minoring in music, or taking private music lessons and possibly earning a Performance Certificate (basically a piece of paper that says that the University thinks you are good enough at performance to play professionally), then you may want schedule a live audition so that you can be considered for a music scholarship.</p>
