Chance me: Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Stanford, UC Berkely, NYU and UCI

I’m an Indian-American female who currently lives in Hong Kong (I’m an American citizen so I get counted as domestic). I want to major in mathematics :slight_smile:

Senior:
SAT I: 1580
SAT II (subject, score): 800 Math 2, 750 Physics

IB DP: 42
Senior Year Course Load: Further Mathematics, high level physics, high level chemistry, high level economics, (standard english and chinese)

Major Awards (USAMO, Intel, etc.):
North East Asia Math Competition: Bronze (G9), Silver (G11)
World Mathematics Championship: Bronze (G11)
Hong Kong IMO preliminary contest: Bronze (G10), Silver (G11) (Qualified for Hong Kong’s international math olympiad team training both years)
Hong Kong Physics Olympiad: Bronze (G10) (Qualified for Hong Kong’s international physics olympiad team training)

Common Awards (AP Scholar, honor roll, NM things, etc.): Chaired 2 MUN conferences, couple of MUN awards, a few other smaller math awards (AIME, UKMT gold etc etc)

Extracurriculars: Competitive Math Club (leads club and teaches junior and senior sections), MUN (leader), UNICEF club (president), student ambassador, community engagement captain, Piano (played for 12 years + ABRSM grade 8 and diploma), Badminton team (G9 and G10), debate club (founder)
Job/Work Experience: Internship at an investment bank
Volunteer/Community Service: Around 200 hours through UNICEF and CE captain
Summer Experience: IMO and IPhO training programs

I’d say your chances are near-optimal for every school here. That’s about a 10-15% chance for Harvard, Princeton, MIT, and Stanford. For Berkeley, it’s 20-25%. UCI and NYU are target schools for you, your acceptance chance is probably 60% or higher.
