-AP Scholar with Distinction

Any feedback is much appreciated

Engineering middle 50% range is top 10% to top 2% class rank and 30-33 ACT (or 1880 to 2140 SAT). You do not give rank and if school does not rank UIUC will estimate. Class rank, test score, and difficulty of courses taken (honors/AP) are most important factors. SAT IIs are NOT considered for admission. Your current SAT score is just barely in the 50% range. Can't tell about the rest although it appears you have a number of AP classes. Also, you say "aerospace/mechanical." You need to apply for one or the other as they are not combined majors at UIUC.

In terms of the difficulty of classes, i will have taken 10 AP classes throughout high school and the rest are honors. Im really hoping for a decent score for the SAT in november, i feel as if my current score is presenting me as a less competitive applicant. I guess we'll see this thursday if anything changes. I guess im still at a crossroads between mechanical and aerospace, im leaning towards aerospace but im not sure about the industry by the time i graduate college.

You should be fine.
