<p>Hey guys I'm new to collegeconfidential and all. I'm a junior wondering about his chances at a few schools. im looking into columbia and brown for ED schools and UCB UCLA UCSD UCD for other schools. I'm an IB bilingual diploma candidate right now as well. </p>

<p>Weighted GPA:4.4 sophmore and junior year so far.</p>

<p>Jr. year courses: Bio SL Chem HL Math HL Spanish B SL History of the Americas HL English A1 HL.</p>

<p>Sat Scores: 800 Math II 790 Chem 800 Chinese :D 720 Bio E
2200 Sat I 800 Math 710 CR 690 Writing </p>

CSF life scholar
San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra 2 years by the time i graduate
5 years Oakland Youth Orchestra
Red Cross Club President
Red Cross Bay Area Chapter historian
Work Experience at KFC/AW for 5 months now
Water Polo Frosh Soph Year JV captain sophmore year (I couldnt do it junior year because i transfered to a school without a water polo team)
Science Bowl Captain Sophmore year
Volleyball, going to be all 4 years.
Teaches violin/viola</p>

<p>Volunteered at a convalescent home last summer. dont do it people i got really spooked out when a lady died when i was solving a jigsaw puzzle with her.</p>

<p>Hey, Im not very good at chancing people. However, you sound very qualified. You have a nice mix of ECs. I know the ACT is not as popular in some states, but I highly recommend that you take it, if possible. My SAT score was similar to yours, and I ended up doing even better on the ACT. Just a thought.
