Loads of AP's and advanced courses
Bunch of average Extracurricular Activities that i wont list to bore you
Commended National Achievement

I had a very weak freshman year (85 average with no extracurricular activities) because I was being dumb over moving to FL from my home in NY. After that year we moved back to LI because everyone hated Florida and my grades picked up to salvage it enough to bring my average into the 90s.

Thanks for helping. And I think it's safe to assume I won't be in the running for any scholarships seeing as I'm not even qualified for the honors college?

I think your grades and test scores are well within range…your SATs are higher than average. Any thoughts on a major? Did you apply for the Acker Scholar program? Good luck!

I agree you’re safely in. D was accepted last year with lower SATS and similar GPA, with a small scholarship. (I don’t know if the scholarship was to encourage OOS diversity.)

Did you send in the SUNY supplemental app? If not, that’s the first step. Then your app will be screened and, if qualified, you’ll receive scholarship info from Admissions.

Interesting, I did the same thing - moved from NY to Fl and back to NY because of an issue with florida’s education system, but i moved back way before you did probably

No…afaik if you didn’t submit this particular supplement, which is mailed directly to the college, you will not be considered. I know the application deadline for UB’s merit scholarships is today, don’t know if that applies to the Acker or not. The instructions and contact link is here:

Scared me for a second there lol. Deadline is the 31st, I’ll get on it now. Thank you sk8rmom for the clarification. I was wondering what the supplement application was for.
