Work Experience: Freelance web-designing/programming, internship at hospital

No sports. At all. :P

Oh yeah, I should probably mention that I'm a white/asian multiracial (so no URM status), and come from an upper-middle class family (so no affirmative action), so I have to get in solely by merit.

I'm also kinda worried about being compared to other outrageously over-achieving asians who may be applying.

Which country did you represent in the IMO?

^ can't tell, seriously. anyone can just google search all my private info if they knew that. Hint: Country is not from the Americas.

anyways, chances? Anyone?

Your academic records look very strong. I guess it all depends on who else from your school are applying and how you compare to them. I know a girl who is from a similar type of school as yours, she got deferred EA, with No. 1 ranking in the class and with similar high SATs. I think she will get accepted RD though.

Well, with IMO, I don't see why they wouldn't want you. I'm sure OP is better than your friend, park327, unless she also has IMO.

You have a good chance (above average). You have all the right stats, but I think it comes down to the essay/interview/etc for those who aren't recruited athletes. Plus, you sound like the asian obsessive type who are just focused on college ("tempted to retake a 790" -- SHUTUP!) and that are often therefore deferred/rejected. I'd say you are a better fit at Harvard than Yale (or Brown) assuming you actually have a stick that far up your ass.

I hate you. I really do. Its ppl like you who raise the bar for HYP MIT UPenn and make sure us lesser mortals never have a chance.
Dude, how the hell are you 27th!!! What kind of people attend your school?
Are you for real or is this a joke?
Man my 42/42 IB Predicted pales in comparison, and my SAT score of 2240?? You just pushed it in the sewers of ignonimy.

^ LOL, no joke. My classmates are freaky, and not just the regular "I-can-recite-Pi-to-a-thousand-places" kind of freaky (everyone, excluding me, in my school can do that), they're the "I'm-going-to-solve-the-P=NP-problem-and-figure-out-how-to-save-the-planet-by-6th period" kind of freaky.

FYI, I'm not the stereotypical obsessive asian nerd (although my stats may portray me as such); I do have a social life. Plus, I'm also half white, so your stereotypes should at least be an amalgam of the stereotypes of both races, right? :) Haha, jk.
