I’m applying to a variety of other schools, but would really like to know my honest chances at places like SLC, FU@LC, and Emerson. Emerson is my #1, SLC is pretty high on the list too (net price calculator gave me EXTREMELY good aid- 10k net price!), and Fordham would be ideal in terms of internships, because I’d like to work in a publishing house.
My major, depending on the school, would either be Creative Writing or English.
I’ve already gotten into Pitt, a small private L.A college in rural PA, and two state schools that acted as my safeties.
I’d also like to add that I go to an average public high school in the Philly suburbs, if that means anything.

My common app essay was about the death of my mother intertwined with my struggle coming to terms with my sexuality. Sounds very cliche and sob-story-esque but I wouldn’t have submitted it if I didn’t think it was well written enough (I’m an extremely critical writer). It mainly focuses on my overcoming of those things, not the things themselves.
I’ve had to do a few writing supplements as well, and I’d say they were exceptional.
My teacher and GC recommendations should also be near amazing–extremely close with both my GC and the two teachers who wrote my recs.
Thank you in advance!!
Also if you wanted to suggest other schools, preferably in the northeast and liberal arts colleges that would be good for my stats, I’d appreciate that too!
