Hello, I am a student at century college in Minnesota looking to transfer to UMNTC for Spring 2020. I am applying to CLA and CFANS, I would really appreciate it if you guys would give me an honest opinion on my chances of getting into either.
GPA: 3.54
Extracurriculars: Volunteer at Regions Hospital and Children’s Hospital St.Paul
Work: Nursing Home
Majors I am Applying for: Philosophy and Psychology (CLA), Nutrition (CFANS)
Awards/Distinctions: Dean’s List
Extras: First Gen, Asian, Female, Pre-med student
Thank you to anyone who took the time to help me out.
Look at the MNcap program:

I looked into this for one of my children a few years ago when you were guaranteed admission if you completed a certain number of credits at a local community college. I am not sure if you are guaranteed admission or not, but you can contact the people listed on this link. There is a contact name and phone number on this link for both CLA and CFANS.
Good luck!
Thank you! I will have completed 26 credits by the time I apply and my plan is to do the MnCAP if I don’t get in on my first try. I honestly didn’t know MnCAP existed before today so thank you for sharing this info with me!!!
You are welcome! I am surprised by how poorly the U of M advertises this program so I am glad to help!
