<p>I think you have a very interesting background. You’re definitely from an under-represented area, and so even though your SAT scores are a bit below the normal accepted range, I’m sure the admissions committee would take your personal experiences and background into account while evaluating your application. You stand a very solid chance overall, not to mention the fact that your GPA is excellent.</p>
<p>sorry, the AP explanation was unclear. I took AP US hist and got a 4 on the test. I am currently taking AP Eng lit and AP calc AB. the only other AP offered at my HS is bio, which I will not take. </p>
<p>My area is not disadvantaged, just maybe under-represented, if that counts for anything. </p>

<p>*do they care a lot that I took math level 1 rather than level 2?</p>
<p>also, should I send them? stanford doesn’t require…</p>
<p>they do request that if you take math, you take math 2, but you have 2 other subject tests too.
it’s not a rule, just a request, because math 1 is significantly more elementary than math 2.
you can send them if you want. personally i would just send math and literature. they are not bad scores just not particularly great.</p>
