Oswego

I am possible Qualified for EOP so I'm unsure of how much that will help my chances

anyone please?

Binghamton, Stonybrook and UB are a reach

^^Agree with above. Although qualifying for EOP will help you.

Honestly, if you are a low-income student, I would avoid UB anyway. Many shenanigans there with the recent changes in financial aid policies and low-income students seem to be having a particularly hard time of late. I can’t link to blogs due to the TOS here but this will give you a tip of that iceberg and you can certainly google for other links:

wow, ok thank you for the Info!

Are you sure you really want to go into the sciences? Based on the info you’ve posted, math and science seem to be your weaker subjects. Many students who plan to study science in college have taken at least one core science at the AP level and math through calculus.

Middie, I agree with nysmile. If you’re sure that you want to major in a science, you’d be better served starting at a CC (many have dorms) or 2-year school. The level and competitiveness of the sciences at the university level makes it very difficult to get good grades. The first 2 years of bio and chem have several “weeder” courses and the ones that grade on a curve are full of pre-pharm and pre-med students. I think you would be better off starting out at a smaller school, with smaller class sizes, with the intention of keeping your grades very high and transferring to one of the 4 year schools. Just my $.02!
