I applied in November to both TAMU and UArk Fayetteville, planning to major in Business at A&M or Apparel Merchandising at UArk!

  • GPA: 3.3 unweighted, 3.9 weighted
  • RANK: top 20%
  • SAT: 1800 (combined CR and Math score is 1160)
  • LEADERSHIP: International Thespian Society Member (10 & 11), Troupe Historian (12) Yearbook: Staffer (10), Business Manager (11), Editor (12)
  • VOLUNTEER WORK: Help homeless at church all throughout year (9-12) Mission Arlington (helped to clean up inner-city Arlington), (11)
  • ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS: Most Improved Thespian Overall (10) Patty Granville Award; only one student per school in district receives for theatrical involvement (11) Academic Achievement of GPA Recognized by District (9-12)

Post-submission freakouts are upon me – so what else is there to do but ask people to chance me? Wooooo!!!

You have a slightly above average portfolio compared to Texas A&M average applicant statistics. However, when did you apply? Texas A&M is rolling admissions and majors fill up quickly. You may be put on the BlinnTEAM if you selected yes on the questionnaire.

I applied in early November! Their business program does fill up pretty fast, but my second choice is in the liberal arts college (communications), so I’m hoping I’ve got a chance with that one :slight_smile:
