<p>hey you guys, since im seeing tons of CHANCE ME threads, decided to do one as well. I'm bored and I know the waiting just started, but its starting to annoy me already LOL.</p>

<p>2nd year transfer, 80 units will be done by spring 09
gpa: 3.76- struggled a bit at first, but got straight A's after the 1st semester
major: political science- international relations
applied to: UCB, UCLA, UCSD, & some other private schools
PRE-REQs: all A's & 1 B (freshman semester :( ) will be completed by spring 09
TAP: YES by spring 09
IGETC: YES by spring 09
AWARDS: FULL TIME DEANS HONOR for 3 semesters
essays: not perfect, but pretty solid. talked about an illness that i had and how that affected me and my studies, how i overcame it, etc. etc.</p>

<p>extracurriculars: TONS of volunteer work, mentor foster kids, internships with councilwoman in north hollywood and at the LA mayor office, volunteer at homeless sheltar.</p>

<p>work experience: currently 2 jobs- assistant at a law firm & piano/ violin teacher, was a waitress, secretary for a piano school</p>

<p>if you have a good shot, then that means i have a good shot as well, lol. i have the same exact stats (a little bit higher GPA 3.79 and I have A's in the two A's ive completed).</p>

<p>last year's avg admit gpa was 3.65, im gonna assume this year is going to be at least 3.7</p>

<p>you also have tap and a lot of ECs so yeah...</p>
