Just wanted to see everyone’s opinions of my chances of getting into some schools I was interested in. I’m currently a junior.
Major: biology with premed track

Stats:
GPA: 3.9/4.2 weighted (4.33 scale)
AP’s: World History, American History, English Lang, Psychology, Physics
AP’s next year: Biology, Chem, Calc AB, US Gov, Spanish language
Honors: Spanish
ACT: 33 not superscored
Execs:
-160 hours volunteer in hospital w/ leadership in patient interaction and creating a hospital library for patients (presidential service award also)
-lab research in neuroscience at top lab in New York
-library assistant
-minor tutoring
I live in New York as a first gen Indian male from a high income family (250k+)
Most of your reaches are ones for which you are in the range of the accepted students, but have acceptance rates of < 30%, so they are good reaches. You s]do need at least one safety, though.

The data on tables A2 and A2.4 shows colleges that had more than fifty applicants to med schools. You might be surprised to see some possible safety schools.

Fordham you may get some decent merit aid but the COA is so much higher than a SUNY. I definitely wouldn’t discount UB (SUNY Buffalo) or Bing. UB will probably give you merit as well. Save your $ for med school
