<p>I'm applying as a transfer. I got my AA degree as a Running Start student and took a gap year as a literacy and language development tutor through an AmeriCorps program in Seattle. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>Female, White, Middle-Class</p>

<p>Status: In-State
GPA: 3.35
SAT: 1990 (570 M, 690 CR, 730 W)
Intended Major: Linguistics</p>

<p>Knowledge Bowl Varsity Captain 9th-10th Grade</p>

<p>As a senior in high school I coordinated my college's guest lecture series, family programming events, and service projects while managing a $45,000 budget.</p>

<p>Will have accrued over 1700 hours of service through AmeriCorps programs as a literacy tutor in the most linguistically diverse ZIP in the country. </p>

<p>Do weekly anti-racism trainings through my organization.</p>

<p>Extra time spent volunteering as homework help tutor at Seattle Public Library and material inspection at the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library. </p>

<p>I take Norwegian lesssons.</p>
