Background: High School was bad for me due to two divorces that occurred. One in freshman year and one in junior year. I was distracted at home with occurring fights and arguments that prevented me from studying. I eventually had to leave home and move back in with my mother due to the ongoing stress and events that were occurring. I would drive 45 mins to school just to be able to go to the same high school. Since both of my parents aren’t remarrying other people in the foreseen future, family life has been great. I am now able to allocate most of my time to school. I would like to transfer out to Dyson to meet students with the same drive, energy, and mindset as myself. I am a big extrovert and very passionate about expressing my interest in politics, business issues, and entrepreneurship. Another reason is Dyson’s research program. Currently, at my school, I am writing a research paper to my school’s board on the long term effects that Covid has on the national economy. At Cornell, I see myself taking advantage of the research program and writing vigorous amounts of papers on topics of concern and interest. I have a unique story to tell about my personal life, my entrepreneurship background, and my goals of running my own asset management business and being governor for CT in the future. Cornell will exceed my needs and help me become the person I was meant to be. Thank you
