<p>You’ll get in. By the way, you can’t “double major” per se in ChemE and Classical Languages - those are simultaneous degrees. Small distinction. A double major gets you one degree with two majors, simult degrees get you a BS and a BA.</p>

<p>Ok thanks so much! So just for clarification, because one is a BS and the other is a BA, they are simultaneous degrees. But if, for example, I pursued a double major in ChemE and Physics, then I would get one BS degree in both ChemE and Physics.</p>

<p>You’re right about the simultaneous degrees. As for ChemE and Physics, no, you’ll get a BS in ChemE and a BA in Physics.</p>

<p>ChemE and Physics are housed in different colleges. If you pursue two disciplines in the same college, you’ll get a double major. If you pursue two disciplines across colleges, you get simultaneous degrees. ChemE is housed in the College of Chemistry (which awards BS degrees) while Physics is housed in College of Letters and Sciences (which awards BA degrees). L&S is also where you’ll find your classical languages, social sciences, humanities, bio, etc…</p>
