BUUUUMMMMPppp

Dartmouth, Chicago & Northwestern are reaches. Vanderbilt & JHU are the next toughest. You should be admitted to Emory, Furman & UNC.

Much depends on where you apply ED/EA & on your teacher recs. For example, if you do not apply ED to Northwestern, your chances for admission are far less than the overall 18% admit rate.

Well I am doing ED to JHU so where does that put me?

In at JHU, most likely.

YAYAYAYAYAYyat

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmpppppppppp

I think you have a great chance with JHU. Your ACT score is very impressive, GPA a tad low but your ACT score makes it look like you have a really competitive school that has a rigorous course load. I would be surprised if you didn’t get into JHU.

BTW, being a student at JHU CTY has been a tremendous blessing for me. Such great people I’ve had the opportunity to work with from that place. Good luck!

Thank you, BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

have you applied for any ed?

I plan on doing ED to JHU next year

Keefo Sameer? Your transcript is very impressive. UChicago: Reach
Cornell: Low reach
Vanderbilt: Match
JHU: Low Reach/ Match
NW:Match
Dartmouth:Low reach
Emory: Match

Chance me please!

The schools you are applying to have countless people with near perfect GPA’s with 13+ AP’s. Fencing or any other activity is not a hook unless you are getting formally recruited by the school.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump

UChicago - low reach
Cornell - high match
NW - low reach
JHU - low reach/high match
Dartmouth - reach
Furman - safety
UNC - high match

You’re a pretty solid candidate for all but admissions are such a crapshoot, especially at top schools. I definitely see you getting into at least one of your reaches though, good luck!

I thought cornell would be harder to get into than JHU lol :p

Chance me for UChicago (EA), Cornell, NW (EA), JHU (ED), Vandy (EA), Emory, Dartmouth (EA), Furman, UNC-Chapel Hill (OOS),

Fencing is a really cool EC; if you’ve got some awards or have competed well in competitions that would certainly be a good hook (otherwise they don’t know if you’ve just started or if you’re a pro). The service hours are exceptionally strong, and your ACT is really good. I’m going to put you at…
Chicago: Low reach
Cornell: Low reach
NW: high match
JHU: high match
Vandy: match
Emory: match
Dartmouth: mid-reach (this will be toughest for you I think)
Furman: in
UNC CH: match
