I am currently a senior in highschool, ranked 10/490 in my class, 4.9 GPA (3.7 UW), ACT 30 (31 superstore), member of NHS, MuAlphaTheta (also an executive officer), Key Club, and DECA. I legally own two businesses under the state of FL, one is a shirt design company called "SelfDesignz" and the other a tutoring company called "TutorZonePlus" for which I have created websites, hired employees, and even made uniforms. I have about 700 service hours and I am currently working on a conservation plan with Fairchild for my school to conserve energy. I have gone to district, state, and international competition for DECA for two consecutive years and plan to do the same this year with my second business. By the time high school ends, I will have taken 13 APs, the rest honors, and four extra classes at a community college (accounting, public speaking, hebrew, and entrepreneurship). I have several letters of recommendation from my teachers. I am probably missing a few things but I think I got most of the important aspects down. Thanks! I would be applying for business for both schools.

Oh and I forgot UMich! Thanks.

Bump

Your unweighted GPA and ACT are definitely on the lower side for UPenn. I am impressed with your ECs though. I’m assuming you didn’t apply ED either (which would have helped at a competitive school like Wharton). It’s a reach for you.

Are you a California resident? If so, your chances for Berkeley are higher.

Roi, you may want to refrain from putting too much personal information on the internet.

As a Florida resident, your chance at UCB is low with those scores. I don’t think you will get into UMich or Penn either since your ACT is a bit too low. Did you take the SAT? Any subject test scores?
