I know engineering would be a reach, but could I transfer from the faculty of arts into engineering?
You’re right at the minimum GPA for Arts, and transferring between faculties is extremely difficult – much harder than at U.S. schools.
You would have to complete first year before transferring. McGill does not allow you to play the game of being admitted to one program and calling up and requesting a different program. The answer will be no.
