I’ll get the basic stuff out of the way first:

  • 1480 SAT
  • 92/100 UW GPA (88 Freshman year, 91.7 Sophomore year, 95.6 junior year so solid upward trend)
  • School doesn’t rank
  • 5 AP courses and tests
  • Took subject tests yesterday
  • Poly Sci major
  • 10/10 teacher rev, 7/10 teacher rec and 9/10 counselor rec

Awards:

  • All-(Insert area of state here) Scholar Athlete winner: Pretty prestigious award for area
  • (School mascot) Award: smaller award for golf team
  • 1st Honors past 6 quarters

ECs:

  • Youth Leadership (Insert City Here): year long program where we visit various businesses and places in city and have talks from leaders in communist. Split into small groups, raised 900 dollars for charity
  • Varsity Golf: All-area scholar athlete winner, state championship qualifier, (school mascot) award 10,11,12
  • Varsity Squash: 11,12
  • Model UN: 11, 12
  • Youth and Government: 11, 12
  • Broadcasted sports: 11 and maybe 12
  • Retreat leader for juniors: 12
  • Retreat leader for Freshman: 12
  • Golf Club founder and president
  • School newspaper: 12

Volunteer:

  • 100-150 hours
  • Went on a service trip for a week through the school last winter break

Schools: USC, UCLA, UCB, UCI, UCSB, UCSD, LMU, SCU, Georgetown, BC (legacy), Dartmouth (Legacy), American (Legacy), GW, Fordham, Villanova, Vanderbilt, Emory. Just shotgunning.

Note: I had health issues Freshman and sophomore year which had an effect on my grades and ECs

Additionally, money is not a problem for any of these schools. I am lucky enough to be able to afford full tuition wherever I go.
