One thing to note:
I suffered from pretty debilitating depression my freshman year and first half of sophomore year. I literally couldn’t do anything and my grades took a massive hit because of it. I didn’t get involved in clubs, didn’t do do homework, didn’t do anything. After many years and medications, I eventually beat it and my grades improved and I became more active outside of the classroom.

Forgot to mention, my intended major is Political Science.
Also, I am a Legacy at BC and American

Congratulations on making a great recovery with your health. I think you are a competitive applicant but are costs an issue?

Can you afford $65K/year to attend the California UC’s? They offer little to no financial aid to OOS students.

LMU looks like a solid Match if not a Safety school. UCSD/UCSB/Santa Clara look like possible Match schools. USC/UCLA and UCB should be considered Reach schools.

Best of luck and if you are full pay the UC’s would love to have you.

Costs are no issue for me. Thank you.

I’m applying to a lot of the same schools! I’m an LA kid though. What the heck is ‘Varsity Squash’. Like, the vegetable? Also, what the heck is that weird GPA system?

Your in MUN? Did you go to NHSMUN?
