Chance Me: USC, Uni of Washington, Cornell, UT Austin, UNC@CH, and Wake Forest

Hello, I would like to know my chances of getting into USC, the University of Washington, Cornell (ED), University of Texas Austin, UNC@CH, and Wake Forest.

Also, if you have any advice about increasing my chances of getting into USC and Cornell, that would be well appreciated.

I want to go into genetics as a major, but at Cornell I’d probably go for Viticulture.

I’m applying EA wherever possible, and ED to Cornell.

I don’t really have any draws except for being an avid females in STEM promoter.

Some of my stats:

3.77U/W GPA, and 3.96 weighted GPA on a 4.4 scale (AP and Honors coursework is weighted x1.1)

Top 10% of a class of ~700 people, at a competitive Minnesota school

35 composite ACT (35 English, 34 Mathematics, 35 Reading, and 34 Science)

10 Writing ACT

AP Scores (so far, planning on taking 2 next year & yet to take 2 this year): 5 AP Human Geography and 4 AP World History

Good activities, had one leadership position in robotics.

Great community involvement and volunteering.

Great misc. accomplishments.

My recs and essays will likely be really good, I went to teachers I trust and I’m spending my summer working on essays.

Thank you!!

I don’t really do chances, but recommend that you apply to USC before December 1st for scholarship consideration. They don’t have EA/ED. Are you in-state for UNC CH? Your ACT score is great but all of the schools seem quite competitive. Be sure to add some target/safety schools to your list. Best of luck.

@jmek15 these are only some of the schools on my list, I took away some of my match schools and all of my safeties since I’m confident in my chances of getting in. I live in Minnesota, so all of these are out of state.
