hey guys, i was wondering if you could chance me for villanova (#1 school), fordham, and nyu

i have around a 3.9 gpa, and am in the top 3% of my school. I am in all honors classes besides AP's.
The AP's I'm taking/have taken are
AP Euro
APUSH
AP Calc BC
AP Physics B
AP English Lit
AP U.S. Gov

I have decent community service, but not fabulous.

ecs:
secretary to community service club
internship with congressional candidate
cooking club
latin club
national honor society
i have around 80-100 hrs of community service

awards:
national latin exam
national honor society
perfect attendance

considering you are basically in 60-75th percentile for SAT @ villanova and you have a higher than average GPA for villanova freshmen I’d say it is a match

not sure what praying4luck is talking about

Grades are great, but your low-ish SAT might suggest grade inflation. However, your classes are rigorous so they might overlook that. ECs are a bit weak (Cooking Club?) besides your internship and community service.

Villanova: low reach (high match if essay is great/SATs are bumped up a bit)
NYU: reach
Fordham: guessing low match? (don’t know much about this school)

To Collegebound: let Villanova know that it is your first choice and I think you will be accepted. The scores for admitted students versus enrolled students always varies. Letting them know that you are likely to enroll will help your odds. Your grades and rank are terrific and your SATs are good too. If I had to bet, I would bet you get into all three.
