I ED to Villanova in early October. I am extremely nervous as I would be crushed if I didn’t get into this school. I know it’s a long shot, but I am hopeful!!
GPA W: 3.4

First Marking Period Grades: English 4 (B+), Forensics (A), Calculus (A), AP Psychology (B), French 5 (A), AP Stat (A)
School Background: I go to one of the top public high schools in NJ. Most students from my school that have been accepted have about a 3.7-4.3.
Extracurriculars: Extremely involved in my church, volunteer work at children’s hospital, 4 years of track and field, chosen out of my entire grade to be a part of 3 board of education meetings, babysitting job every day after school, YMCA lifeguard and swim instructor.
Legacy: My father went to Villanova and was named one of the Magna Cum Laude (GPA over 3.8).
Letter of Recc: One family I babysit for wrote me a letter of recommendation. Both the mother and father attended Villanova and continue to have close ties with Villanova to this date.
Essay: I wrote it on my volunteer work at a shelter I continuously volunteer at throughout the year.
Religion: Roman Catholic. Extremely involved.
What do you think? Am I crazy for even thinking I have a chance due to my GPA?
