Chance Me (will chance back) @ Georgetown, NYU, Vanderbilt and Others?

Hey y'all, just requesting some potential chances. I'm a junior now, so I have some more stats that I hope will be helpful.

SAT (first sitting): 2110
GPA (UW): 4.00/4.00
GPA (W): 4.2
APs:
Sophomore: APWH (4), AP Chem (4)
(pending) Junior: AP French, AP Comp Sci A, APUSH, AP Lit, and AP Bio
(planned) Senior: AP Macro and Micro Econ, AP Physics C, AP Stat, AP Calc BC
Class Rank: Top 5% or higher for sure though school doesn't rank

EC(s):
-Community Service through Habitat for Humanity Builds and Tutoring ~50 hrs with more planned
-Model UN 1st place award at a Regional Public University Conference (~50 delegates in my committee) and our delegation was the winner overall of the conference; and Honorable Mentions at other conferences. I went to NHSMUN in New York but GA was no fun. You barely speak.
-Public Forum Debate quarterfinalist awards at many tournaments and speaker awards (no first place awards yet though) Barely over 200 NSDA points so far (our school does not have a large debate budget); I've won against teams that have won other tournaments though. I feel like I always get slighted by a lay judge which prevents me from breaking ugh.
-Governor's School
-Leadership positions in some STEM related Clubs
-Member of selective student leadership group Sophomore Year
-Some JV athletic medals for Rowing although I no longer do that
-Band and Orchestra (Piano/Trumpet)
-Summer camps at Vanderbilt and UTK
-Highest rated blog on a website that has over 400,000 users.

About Me:
Indian Male | Not URM or Disadvantaged income-wise

I'm from Tennessee, like longboarding, and am really good at graphic design and public speaking. I am undecided on major and my sort of lack of focus in EC(s) probably shows that. I'm thinking either Business, International Affairs, Political Sci, or Aeronautical/Biomedical Engineering.

Bump?

You’re in good shape in my opinion. The main thing that could (and it might not) hurt is SAT. Depends on how it breaks down. I had a 2110 superscored on my first two, but it was a 780 math and 640 reading, which is really unbalanced. A 2110 could also mean 700/700/710, in which case you’re in good shape. If there is an imbalance, retake it, and aim for 700+ per section. If you’re already there, then good. You may still wanna retake it, but if you’re at 700+ on all sections, you’re good. Your GPA is perfect, so that’s awesome. Take the subject tests as well, For MIT, do Math and a science. Other schools should be fine with that arrangement, and MIT doesn’t care about any other. Plus, you are STEM oriented. I’m assuming you’re a sophomore. My recommendation is to wait until junior year and do math IIC and molecular biology.

If you suspect that one of your teachers will remain with you until junior or senior year, make sure to develop a close relationship, and hold that. Recs will matter. If you are a sophomore, now is a bit early for essays, since prompts will most likely change. Going on with that, for ECs, you may eventually find the weight of so many to be kinda tough to bear, and perhaps you can’t keep it up. If you can without your grades dropping, continue. If not, make sure to remember that it’s better (for you and admissions) to have a few that you’re dedicated to instead of a bunch that you’re just a member of.

So keep up what you’re doing, and take the subject tests. Retaking the main SAT won’t hurt, but if you have 700+/section, it may not be necessary. Eprep is what I used, and it did bring me up a lot. They have free stuff, so try that and see.

NYU Stern, MIT, Tufts, Duke, and Vanderbilt are tough for anyone, but you are competitive. They’re not crapshoots.
Georgetown is gonna be tough, but more doable
BU and GWU are both pretty easy.

Well, could you do mine please?

Thanks! I have 680CR/720WR/710M so I’ll retake it to raise my super score.Chanced back! :)

i think you’re a competitive applicant for these schools. make sure to maintain everything, write good essays, and build a strong relationship w a few teachers and your counselor. chance back?
