Northwestern (EA) or (ED)
Georgetown (EA)
George Washington (EA)
Boston U. (EA)
Emory (EA)
University of GA.
GA. Tech
sorry for the extensive list, but I only have one shot at applications :p
will chance back!

Your class rank will hurt you the most but here we go:

Cornell (EA) or (ED) - Reach for regular and high match for ED
Northwestern (EA) or (ED) - Reach for regular and high match for ED
Georgetown (EA) - Low reach
George Washington (EA) - Low match to safety (you will definitely get in)
Boston U. (EA) - Match
Emory (EA) - Match
University of GA. - Match
GA. Tech - Match

Celluch our school doesn’t report rank, so without class rank what would they be?

You should check out the schools’ policies again. Cornell, Emory, Northwestern, Boston U all have Early Decision policies, not Early Action policies.

Also, college admissions these days are now an art and not science. Nobody on CC can tell your chances. Despite this, I would say that you seem to be academically competitive with your ACT score and SAT II scores. You should absolutely try your hardest to get in the top 10% of your class before your senior/by the end of first semester of senior year.

Sorry for sounding harsh
Best of luck!

Well that will definitely help you because you want to be in the top 10 % if you are ranked. I think that my original estimate still holds true but just a slightly higher chance now at all of them. What is your top choice?

Also you said that your school doesn’t report rank. However your school will report the highest GPA in your grade in the Common Application which gives the admission officers some indication of your relative academic position in comparison to the valedictorian of your grade.

well our school only does UW, so highest GPA would be a 4.0 :frowning: I know my GPA is my weak link

well GTown, GW, or BU are my top choices, can you explain why GTown is a reach?

Don’t feel blue. Work on the subjective parts of the application (essays, short answers, teacher and GC recommendations (choose them wisely!), and supplements) with great care. Again, you seem like an academically competitive applicant; now you have to be compelling/interesting. The GPA won’t be your anchor and you still have time to raise it :)

Oh thanks! But no :frowning: that 3.85 is assuming i get 4.0 this semeste

Your ECs seem to be fairly good. You are very involved, and your ECs seem to be oriented towards the Debate/Leadership kind of thing with Model UN, Mock Trial, National Youth Leadership Forum, and the Georgetown International Affairs program. It’s good that your ECs have some kind of orientation. I would say you have a fairly decent shot at any of these schools, as much as any person. I agree with the chances that cellucch gave. Best of luck!

Chance me back please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1470328-chance-brown-plme-ed.html</a></p>

Bump bump bumpity

Very good chance of getting in to all, seems very competitive

Every school reports rank. I mean every school. I work at my high schools guidance office

Well mine doesn’t LOL…I asked

Bumpity 10

That’s what they all say. Supposedly, mine doesn’t too.

Btw, u should get into at least half of those colleges

Hey, your stats are kind of similar to mine! I have the same GPA/class rank dilemma.
Honestly, I can’t say I’m familiar with many of the colleges you’re interested in but based on your application I think you are a strong, competitive applicant.
If it’s not too late for you to try doing more to improve your application, perhaps you could try doing an internship.

you have really great ecs with great accomplishments and focus

Cornell (EA) or (ED) - regular low reach, and high match for ED
Northwestern (EA) or (ED) - low reach for regular and high match for ED
Georgetown (EA) - low reach
George Washington (EA) - Low match to safety (you will definitely get in)
Boston U. (EA) - Match
Emory (EA) - Match
University of GA. - Match
GA. Tech - Match

please chance back (:

Thank you for chancing me! If it is not too much to ask, do you think you could also chance my friend. She is really looking for some input on how to improve her chances. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/pomona-college/1470407-chances-pomona-ed.html</a></p>
