Hi, I would like to go to the following schools for economics (or finance, depending on what they call their econ/finance major).
Princeton
Dartmouth
Cornell
UChicago
Duke
MIT
WashU (St. Louis)
UMichigan
Illinois (I'm an Illinois resident, so safety)
Madison
Berkeley
Syracuse (safety)

3.86 GPA UW
4.17 GPA W
32 ACT
1410 SAT
Class rank: 96 percentile
Senior course load: (Theology, AP Calc, Hnrs English, AP Science, AP Stats, Architectural Design, Ancient Greek 4)

Coxswain on varsity rowing team
Vice President of Architecture Club
Volunteer at children's hospital
Democratic strategist in school newspaper

Thanks. Post a link with your response, will chance back.

Is 1410 your M+CR score?

As of now, I would say that they are all reaches.

More EC’s? AP’s? Rank? We need more info

1410/1600 for the first question. Those are my EC’s listed. My rank is listed above also. Our school doesn’t give ranks, just percentiles. I am in the 96th percentile. You really think Syracuse and Illinois are reaches, especially Illinois, since I am in-state?

Princeton - high reach (for everybody it is a high reach)
Dartmouth - reach (bring up the SAT a bit and it’ll be more like a low reach)
Cornell reach (same with Dartmouth)
UChicago - reach (for everbody)
Duke - reach (for everybody)
MIT - high reach (for everybody it is a high reach)
WashU (St. Louis) - low reach or high matchh
UMichigan - high match
Illinois (I’m an Illinois resident, so safety) - i guess safety then
Madison - idk sorry
Berkeley - high match/low reach (if only you lived in cali lol)
Syracuse (safety) - safety

The 1410 depends alot about breakdown. If it was 800 , 610, that might be a problem (thou that would be easy to superscore). 710 700 or vice versa is much better (i would advise taking it again though and trying to raise at least one of them… aim for a 1500+ if you can).

Since you are doing it without writing, Im guessing you are partial to Cornell? Thinking about ED there (it’ll help your chances)?

Princeton - extremely high reach
Dartmouth - mid reach
Cornell - low reach
UChicago - high reach
Duke - mid reach
MIT - high reach
WashU (St. Louis) - low reach
UMichigan - match
Illinois - safety
Madison - match
Berkeley - low reach
Syracuse - safety

I’m an Illinois resident too! Match back?
