Hey, planning on applying ED to W&M in a few weeks and wondering what you out here think.

Male, out-of-state, caucasian.
GPA: UW; close to 3.8, W; close to 4.0 (very big improving trend year to year as well)
SAT: single-sitting 2100 (1420 with CR/M), looking to get another 50 points-ish in October's SAT
ACT: 31 composite, probably will send my SAT especially if I improve
Rank: My school doesn't report, but I'm probably hardly out of 10% (competitive school)
Curriculum: I do have a C+ on my transcript, but since then I've had nothing less than an A in math (shows improvement?)
Otherwise, I've taken all honors / AP classes. All A's and B's. 4 years of language, 4 years of science, 4 years of history, 4 years of English, 4 years of math including stats and calculus.

APs:
English lang and comp (5)
US History (4)
English lit and comp (sr year)
Psychology (sr year)
Latin (sr year)
Statistics (sr year)

Other classes senior year include Physics and Calculus honors, only elective is band which is a high-level group (talk more about it in co-curriculars)

Letters of recommendation: They'll be solid, good letters, but they're not gonna be the best ones they read from all the applicants.

Extra curricular:
I do a ton of theater and music, as well as NHS.
I'm the secretary of my theater troupe and have the highest international honor for high school theater (1000+ hours of service), been doing since freshman year. Very passionate.
I'm directing a play this year and have been in countless productions, some high-level competition pieces.
I've been an officer for my band since sophomore year, we've played at Carnegie Hall and are playing Strathmore Hall this year. I play 4 instruments and am also heavily into music.
I have performed in an acapella group since freshman year and am one of the leaders of the group. We perform in a memorial concert each year to commemorate the death of a former student.
I am self-taught in 3 instruments and take piano and clarinet lessons, and I also teach clarinet lessons.
Outside of the arts, I'm in NHS and am the secretary of the group. We do a TON of community service (NHS is actually really serious at my school) and a lot of stuff for children with cancer and the underprivileged. It's really rewarding and I enjoy the work.
I do a lot of church service and some tutoring as well.

Essay:
I feel like my essay is the strong point of my application. Ties in how theater has been useful to me and integral in who I am as a person, it tells a lot about me and justifies my extra-curricular interest.

Interview:
I travelled 500 miles to interview and I think it went well. Definitely helped and my interviewer seemed to like me.

I am also doing an arts submission and the supplemental essay.

Thanks! I'd be happy to answer any other questions that would help.
