-780 physics, 800 math 2, 800 us history Subject Tests
-8 AP classes 9th-11th grade, 10 AP tests (8 5s, 2 4s)
-5 AP classes 12th grade
-12th grade GPA slightly lower as of now (3.9 UW)
-national merit semifinalist

-robotics (my “only significant activity” according to many) 17-20 hrs/week all year (summer included), 4 leadership positions including captain, varsity letter
-lead student writing tutor 7 hrs/week all school year
-ACT tutoring usually 5 hrs/week all year
-marching band/pep band/highest level concert band (time commitment varies) all school year, varsity letter, 2 awards for “superior” horn solo
-coach elementary school robotics teams 3 hrs/week Sep-Dec
-community leadership award for robotics coaching

-common app essay: “excellent,” “authentic,” and “hilarious” according to adults, but it’s not about anything impressive (i.e. scientific research projects or service trips) like it is for a lot of my peers
-“why NU” essay: “unique,” “interesting,” “shows I’ve done my research”

-also Hispanic if that matters

YOU’ll GET IN

^^^You will get in mainly because your ACT and GPA are both very high, you have a ton of extracurriculars such as band (I’m in all sorts of bands also) and you seemed very committed to NU if you are applying early decision

I’d like to say you have a really high chance of getting in, but then again, I’m not an admissions officer. You look really competitive on paper and I’m sure your essays are great, so I’d say Northwestern is a solid chance for you.
