Anyone have any ideas of what kind of business-related clubs i can start? I think this will help my app a bit and it kind of bugs me that there are no clubs related to it at all lol. any suggestions will be great!

excellent chance at stern and columbia but wharton might be a bit difficult. it is, after all, the top business school in the nation.

chance back please! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/636819-lehigh-ed-2-please-chance-worried-kid.html

Just btw not sure if this matters.... might make my average seem even better lol.
I go to one of the best schools in the nation, sending 24 out of 177 kids to Ivy Leagues in 2007, and the sat 2400-scale average for the class of 2007 was a 2156 (1436 on a 1600-point scale). Considered "too elite" for Newsweek's top high schools list :P.

Wharton's unpredictable. Columbia should be 50/50, and Stern should be almost guaranteed. Good luck!

Also, come chance me at

Well, im only a junior. So when the time comes, does anyone think i should ED columbia instead of wharton? or do u think i am competitive enough for ED wharton?

anyone????

Stern - in
UPenn (W)- low reach
COlumbia - high match

I don't know anything about Stern, but you have decent chances at Penn and Columbia. I'd say high match to slight reaches for both?

Hey, another CTY kid!!! Hahaha what site were you at for your logic course? I took like three courses (two at JHU campus, and one at Lancaster)

But anyway, as for your chances, your SATs are you course, excellent, so no need to worry there. Your awards also seem very up to par.

However, my only concern lies in your ECs. For Columbia and Wharton, I'm going to say low reaches. NYU Stern, I will say match.

I've seen tons of applicants with 2300+ SAT scores rejected from Columbia and Wharton. I find your internships the most intriguing of your ECs. Other than that, there is nothing really unique that immediately sets you apart.

Of course, it largely depends on your recs/essays. But based off of ONLY the info presented here, I would say: Columbia/Wharton: Low reach; Stern: match.

Yeah I would say your looking VERY good (basically in) for NYU. I know somebody who got into Columbia and did not even have the most amazing grades so you got a great shot there too..

As for Wharton, I have heard it is nearly the hellishly most selective, so I dont know, but I DO know they will not carelessly pass you up. They will do some thinking before/IF they let you go...Good luck
