Chance Me. Will chance back!

Hey, I'm new to this website and hopefully got this sent into the proper forum but nonetheless, please give me your thoughts about where I can get in or not.

I am applying to: Boston U, Boston College, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, Fordham U, U Chicago (EA), U Washington, U Oregon (accepted), U Michigan, and NYU

I realize that there are quite a bit of reaches in there but I hope to end up at the best academic school.

INFO:
School: Private Jesuit school in a big city, rated very high and according to Wikipedia "The Prep ranks among the top three schools in Northern California and has ranked among the 20 schools in the nation for its AP success. It has been ranked as one of the nation's top-60 prep schools by the U.S. Department of Education
GPA: 3.42 Unweighted ... Weighted I don't know figure what you will
SAT: 1790 and 1780... superscore is 1840
SAT II: 610 Math 2, 650 US History
Class Rank: School doesn't rank
Classes: Regular Frosh year, 3 Honors Soph. year, 2 Honors and 1 AP junior year, and 4 AP's senior year
EC's: 4 years of baseball, 1 year of football, 100 hours of community service at a program for mentally ill men/women and the other was a camp for impoverished children
Work experience: summer job as a clerk at an attorney's office filing documents and completing random tasks
Rec's: I assume good. No trouble with school.

You don't have to tell me where I'll get into for every school on the list (15) but please offer me any insight you might have. Thank you.

I am most familiar with UMich and I can assure you that a 3.42 gpa, regardless of how good of a secondary school you attended, will make it difficult for you to get in. Also looking at what you accomplished in high school, you do reach quite a bit because your gpa is sub par at a lot of the good schools you applied to and your test scores are also sub par. For UChicago especially your scores don’t work. Also you don’t really have any strong ECs that stand out and there is little leadership shown on your resume. I’m sorry but I honestly think that you do not have many redeeming points to get you into many of the top schools of your choice. But regardless you do have a fairly strong resume and that should get you into one of the slightly lower schools you applied to. Good luck!!!

why am i sensing that NYU is all of a sudden a match? I always thought it was a top tier school and pretty hard to get into?

SATs and GPA arent really anything special, but your volunteering seems to help make up for that
