Chances please?!

<p>What are my chances at WashU, USC, JHU, Columbia, Stanford, Boston University, and University of Chicago please..</p>

<p>I know some are reaches, please help me out.</p>

<p>I go to a very competitive public high school in CA.</p>

<p>top 10% of 530 kids.</p>

<p>Weighted 4.32</p>

<p>Stats:
SAT I 2230 (740 CR, 760 Math, 730 Writing)
SATII: 2C 790; Bio 740; US history 720</p>

<p>APS: Bio: 5
US: 4
Eng:4
Art History: 4</p>

<p>500+ hrs of community service over 4 years at
libraries, UCLA medical center, UCLA clinical lab.</p>

<p>internship over past summer at city hall</p>

<p>violin 9-12
tennis team 9th grade
x-country team 10-12
Track team 10-11, varsity 11th</p>

<p>Science olympiad 10th
co-vice president and co-founder of congressional awards club 11th
co-vice presdient of inspirational club 12th
Robotics team - 12th
Science Olympiad 12th</p>

<p>5 APs this year.</p>

<p>Seems like Wash U and Johns Hopkins should be okay, BU and the others are safeties. Stanford and Columbia are of course reaches for everyone, and while your sats and gpa are strong, plus the officer positions, I dunno, nothing seems to really stand out.
Then again, you could have killer recs and essays and get in. So I think that you have a good shot but you cannot neglect the remaining parts of your app.</p>

<p>BU is an average school at best. In Boston area, lots better like Tufts, Holy Cross, Brandeis.</p>
