<p>I have applied to the Elliot School of International Affairs EDII and I want to major in international politics, so here are my stats.</p>
<p>I am a guy from New York and I attend a very competitive public school that has a good relationship with GWU.</p>
<p>GPA: 3.67 unweighted</p>
<p>Sat: 2240 (690 critical reading, 750 math, 800 writing</p>
<p>AP classes: AP World History (4) AP US History (5) AP Bio (4) AP computer science (this year) AP European history(this year) Also the majority of my classes have been advanced/accelerated classes.
-AP Scholar award</p>
<p>Sat II: Biology (760), World History (720), US History (770)</p>
<p>Political involvement:
- Went door-to-door in Pennsylvania in the 2012 presidential election
- Lived in D.C. for a month and Interned at the Mellman Group (a political consulting firm)
- Submitted my political science research to the intel science and talent search competition (I participate in my school's science research program).</p>
<p>Volunteering:
-Volunteer weekly at a child care center
-Taught tennis to underprivileged children last Summer
-President and founder of a school club that goes to senior centers and plays games with the seniors. </p>
<p>Clubs:
-The club stated above and various other clubs in school like everyone else (autism speaks ect.)
-Member of Harvard Model Congress for three years.</p>
<p>Work:
-Work as a tutor/administrator at a local tutoring business</p>
<p>Sports:
-play academy tennis multiple times per week
-member of jv and varsity tennis team at my school</p>
<p>Random Stuff:
-participated in an International Affairs and American Politics program at Georgetown University </p>
<p>This is pretty much just a rough draft of what I have done. I am sure if I look back on my common app I will remember everything I have done, but I guess this is the important stuff.
