Obviously what worries me most is that GPA. Honesty would be appreciated. Much obliged, CC.

dude, you have an awesome chance, I would say you don’t have to worry at all lol

What’s your unweighted GPA?

wait, hold up, 3.94 is ur weighted GPA? so is it out of 5?

cuz 3.94/5 might not be that stellar in admissions officer eyes

Haha, yes. That’s why I’m worried about it. Unweighted GPA is 3.57.

That’s a toughie. Chicago’s probably a pretty high reach with that GPA, unfortunately. We’ve seen quite a few people in the results thread with stellar test scores and low GPAs, and they were almost all deferred. Since the RD round is even more competitive than the EA round (a 9-10% acceptance rate for RD compared to 23% for EA), it’ll probably be quite difficult to get accepted with that GPA.

At least, that’s my assessment based on the results we’ve seen today.

yeah to my knowledge Chicago does give a lot of credit on GPA’s, so sorry bro, I have to take back my first post and say youre probably an iffie. But you definitely still have a shot

I can’t see you getting in with that GPA, unfortunately.
