Recs are excellent. Essays should be really good, too. Peer rec should be really good. Please chance me-you've already read my profile to this point. Thanks!

35 views and not a single chance -sigh- please, guys? I can chance back

i think you should just send in your top 2 scores and not the Lit because all they need are 2 scores from SAT IIs.

And I think the reason you aren’t getting many responses is that people aren’t comfortable chancing an international. But, as a fellow Canadian, I would say that you probably stand a shot. Your SAT I, SAT II, and average are in line with what they’d be looking for. I think you need to now blow them away with essays.

I realize that this is info. that you probably already know but it’s the best I can do lol.

EDIT: nvm, you said your essays are good, so yea, just apply and hope ahah. That’s all we can do as internationals.

Yup, that’s my plan. I sent in my Bio and am going to send in my re-take of Math II in Jan.

Oh gosh, essays are what I’m afraid of. It’s hard to know how good mine are because I don’t know how good everyone else’s are! Also, there is only one essay for Dartmouth-the common essay (cue ominous music and the theme from Psycho). I sent in my peer eval via “snail mail” earlier this week. I actually kissed the letter good luck hahaha even though that sounds weird. It was so exciting to let it go in the mailbox. I was giddy!

Thank you for chancing me.

Yeah, not a lot of people are willing to chance internationals, especially Asian internationals because everyone assumes that we’re the same! ASIANS ARE NOT THE SAME, PEOPLE. You have to understand that. We’re people just like you. We are all unique and not all of us fit the usual stereotype stamped onto us (e.g. 2400 SAT, 99% average, top 1%, super math/science nerd). It is SO frustrating sometimes.

Anywho, PLEASE CHANCE ME! CHANCE ME and I can chance back-I promise.

If they treat Canadians like other internationals then it’s a long shot. But if they don’t, I think you have a decent chance. But your SAT II scores are pretty weak.

I see people looking but not chancing…
