First chance. I'm a high school junior.

I'm aiming for maybe some state schools like University of Minnesota, Texas schools (UT -Austin), maybe UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC. Maybe a few east coast - Columbia, Cornell, Brown (far reach), BU, UNC, MIT (just for fun).

Possible Majors: Biochemistry, chemical engineering, mathematics, or social sciences. I haven't yet narrowed down my options yet.

SAT: 2000 (650 M, 640 R, 710 W)
ACT: 29 (33E, 33M, 27R, 23S) <--- :(
SAT II: Haven't received scores yet
APs: AP Euro - 3; took Calculus AB, APUSH, Chem, and English examinations last week. Positive that I did well.
GPA: 3.65 unweighted - 3.82 weighted (4.0 fresh & soph)

Academically-related awards/activities, etc.

ECs
- 130 hours community service; libraries, service days, odd jobs
- JV/Varsity Tennis 3 years up to this date

- 10 years of violin

Other information
-from reasonable income bracket; both parents have decent occupations - one's a professor the other an engineer.

Kind of disappointed in my SAT scores. Looking back on the test I saw from the scoresheet that I omitted close to 15+ the whole test. On recent practice tests I've pulled well above 2200. As for my ACT I'm truly disappointed in the last two sections. SAT Reading is a breeze for me. The latest score on my practice test was 760 CR and near perfect in writing multiple choice and math. I'm retaking in June.

I'm feeling good about my AP tests...maybe. Last year was a failure.
