<p>I'm currently a junior in a pretisgious high school and I want YOUR opinions (honest or not, not as if I could force you) about my chances to:</p>

Northwestern
John Hopkins
Williams and Mary
Davidson
Columbia
UPenn</p>
<p>Our school does not rank, nor does it calculate GPA-- but my average grade in my transcript is an A-. I would think I'm in the top 10%-25% range... But I do know my class schedule is the most rigorous offered at my school. Will be taking 5 AP's next year for a total of 9 throughout my high school career (the max our school has ever offered was 10 throughout a student's career). My grades have gone from a B average to what it is now, gradually improving. </p>
<p>SATS: 770 Math, 700 Reading, 700 Writing (I plan to take it again since I feel like I can do significantly better...)</p>
<p>SAT IIs: 800 Math2, 740 USH, 770 Biology E/M (planning to take Spanish soon as well, maybe USH again)</p>
<p>AP Scores: APUS 5, APBio 5, APLit 5, APCalcAB 5</p>
<p>I'm not too worried about my college essays, although I am wary, but if anyone feels like my writing sucks, constructive criticism is always welcome. I had a pretty rough start freshmen/sophomore year, which is why my average grade is an A-, hopefully I can explain the circumstances with the essay. </p>
<p>Activities/awards:
Eagle Scout
Internship with the EPA
3 years of Chess club/Math club/School Newspaper/Science Olympiad other fillers for the Resume
Started a club called Foreign Awareness
NHS (probably ought to go into the fillers, but it does sound nice)
Orchestra for 3 years, First Violin
2 years All State Orchestra, second chair first violin.
This year in a pretty prestigious youth orchestra in the state, second violin.
Debate for 2 years, broke to semi's at districts. Placed at some random local tournaments.
Volunteering: I get in around 15 hours per year (school required)... maybe a total of 50 throughout my high school career thus far... </p>
<p>I do not volunteer at a regular place, as I am a horrible person who believes that people should help themselves.... actually I just found that there's nothing I'm truly "passionate about" that I feel like I would enjoy investing my time into to help others... which does make me sound rather horrible.
However, I am planning to do a bit of volunteering at a library and animal shelter this summer-- so possibly 20-30 hours. </p>
