Hello everyone. So far I've been rejected from Northwestern, Wesleyan, and UVA, and was placed into the Core Studies Program at NYU, so I've gotten pretty nervous about the rest of my schools. Here are my stats...

There's a pretty large depression in my grades sophomore year but I worked hard to pick it back up. Also, I've only taken Bio and Chem (no physics). This year I'm taking a bioethics class to fill my science requirement. I've taken Geometry, Algebra II, Precalc, and Calculus.

GPA:
Freshman: 3.79 (UW), No APs available, one accelerated language (B)
Sophomore: 3.49 (UW), One AP (B), one accelerated language (A-)
Junior: 3.76 (UW), Three APs (A, A, A-), one accelerated language (A-) NO SCIENCE TAKEN
Senior: 3.9 (UW), Two APs (A, A-), one accelerated language (A-) NO LAB SCIENCE TAKEN

SAT I:
CR: 740, Math: 640, Writing:740 Combined: 2120

SAT II:
English literature: 710, US History: 640

ECs:
Asst. Stage manager, Asst. to the director
Wrote movie reviews for school paper
President of Film club
Member of top choir at school (Toured in Europe last year)
Year round job at local store (Work up to 18 hours a week)
Paid internship at local theater (It's a professional theater. Not community)
One year unpaid internship at local TV station
Peer leader in senior program at school

First off, I’m assuming that you’re out of state?

Negatives:
Incomplete Curriculum (No calculus or physics)- This will not kill you. I got in without having taken either.
No science- This might kill you if you’re border line. It just is a gap in your education, also you do know that WM requires two sciences right?
AP Drop- You took fewer APs senior year than junior year, which indicates that you didn’t want to work hard senior year.

Positives:
Boards- They’re fine. Not amazing, but definitely won’t push you out of the running.

GPA- Looks fine, but no rank (they’re big on rank), and you can’t know how to interpret GPA without context.

ECs- Only one leadership position is kind of meh. But you have a lot of clubs, a clearly concentrated interest (theatre/performing arts). Hope that you had many long term ones.

Your rejection from UVA might be an indication of things to come, instate I’d say probably in or waitlisted, OOS probably waitlisted or out.

Not having a class rank will not disadvantage any student. Oftentimes, schools provide us information about a student’s rank, even if no explicit rank is provided. Schools will often tell us what the highest GPA in the class is or provide us with deciles by GPA so we often have some great indicators for rank even when no specific rank is made available.
