EC:
--Founder/President of my high school's UNICEF Club. Includes many events such as the local Business Expo, countless fundraisers, school charity drives, etc.
--"Volunteen" for Children's Hospital
--Ambassador for a local inner city children's benefit organization. I extended the outreach of the inner city children's organization to the suburbs to help raise funds and collect donations. I have worked personally with the founder and board. I've put together many events with my high school to benefit this charity. I feel very strongly about this organization and will most likely write about it in my essay.
--NHS (as well as the many volunteer hours invested in it)
--Student Council
--Volunteer at library since sophomore year
--Volunteer swim coach for disabled elementary students since sophomore year

I also would be an out of state applicant

Thank you very much!!

Mirandastern - I don’t offer opinions on chances so I’ll leave that to others. I did want to mention that W&M looks for Physics as part of a rigorous course schedule. I see that you are taking both AP Chem and AP Bio, both excellent courses. You may want to ask them how not having Physics will reflect on your overall transcript, if at all.

@blueiguana, we do recommend physics but if students supplement physics with AP Biology or AP Chemistry that’s just fine. They’re all very rigorous science courses.
