I attend an early college high school where I take college classes and high school classes at the same time. I will be receiving my IGETC and a AA degree when I graduate from high school

Any chances? Any questions?

good ec’s but your gpa is pretty low. you’re a reach

I’m taking college classes during the summer…so it might help me gpa :/…i hope

Yeah your gpa is pretty low but other than that everything looks great ! I believe you can get in if you raise your gpa to 3.2-3.3.

Thank you! I’m doing my best right now!

err gpa is low

Getting your IGETC and your AA when you graduate high school?

thats going to be a problem right there, UC’s has a specific policy that they will not accept any high school students that has taken college courses and specifically IGETC (that is only pertain to transfers) because for one it could and will conflict with your class status, which completing your IGETC means your junior standing or 3rd year in college as your GE’s are absolutely finished which is a bad thing for you (if a freshman completed all the GE’s which would last for 2-3 years if you get into UCI, they won’t simply let you take upper division courses just because you completed IGETC and your freshman standing)

you need to call the UCI’s admission’s adviser about this (explain this situation), as this will cause major admissions problems for you later on if you don’t contact them before you put in your UC application (even if you go to a ‘early college high school’).
