Chance me? :)

Okay so, I'm applying RD to Northeastern's undergraduate Nursing major/program! I'm not one of those egotistical butts that post their 3.999 GPA and 2350 SAT to get a confidence booster; I really would like to know what your true thoughts are! So here are my statistics:

Volunteer Center Youth Coalition: General Board Member (100+ hours)

My essay is (sort of a sensitive topic to immature males) about how i dont have a period and is currently labeled as infertile, and how it has effected my view of my future; It is about how my inability to have children has drastically changed my notion on family and children and resulted in my new passion for pediatrics and infants, leading to my career path: to become a labor and delivery nurse.

I have a great additional recommendation from my hospital's nursing department director, and a (what i assume to be) generic teacher recommendation.

My problem is that I realize that my resume shows that I don't do as well in the classroom than at work environments (like the hospital). During my sophomore and junior years, I've had a seriously rough family environment (like my little cousin tried to commit suicide so i was always with him at the hospital) so those years are bit of a gloom on my academic transcripts. I also have no school interaction, except my sports team, but no school clubs or anything like that and i feel like that will affect my chances greatly...

Anyways, any feedback would be very appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read! :)

oh and i also took 2 SAT subject tests:
Math II: 780,
Biology M: 680

i think you have a good chance. your curriculum is strong, you have a lot of volunteering hours, and your essay is very unique  wouldn’t hurt to raise your scores though!

Ohh. Thank you thank you thank you! scores as in ACT and SAT? I’m studying my butt off or ACT right now! My practice tests say I’m at about 29-32.
