<p>GPA 3.605/4.0 (junior year average was 3.85)</p>
<p>classes: advanced classes taken : Geometry Ac, Spanish 2ac, Spanish 3 ac, Algebra 2 ac,
Geophysical science ac, Ap us history, Ap chemistry Spanish 4 ac, Ap macroeconomics. Taking Ab calc and Ap gov this year. Getting recomendations from 2 michigan grads and my piano teacher who's a current professor at U of M. Mom works at U of M. Brother went to U of M. </p>
<p>Extra circulars: Lacrosse 2 years(last year and this year), McDonalds this past summer, PPLP(piano program at U of M), and some school clubs, Deca this year, acting group that speaks fully in Russian treasurer of a couple clubs</p>
<p>I didn’t apply there but I think you have a good chance, but your GPA is a little on the average. Maybe someone else can give you better advice.</p>
<p>I would say that you’re a match. The fact that you have close family employed at the university, and that you are getting a recommendation from a U-M professor will definitely be looked at very favorably. That plus instate status I believe will make up for the somewhat shoddy GPA from your freshman and sophomore years. You also have an upward grade trend, which will also be considered when they’re looking at your GPA. It’s not as black and white as it might at first seem. Good Luck!</p>
