Chance Me?

I applied for Regular Decision a month ago, was wondering if I could have some opinions on if I will get in or not. I like the school a lot.

GPA: 3.51/4.00
SAT: 1860
ACT Composite: 30 (E-32, M-30, R-26, S-30)

Senior Schedule: AP Psychology, AP Statistics, H Anatomy and Physiology, H British Lit, H College Writing (rest are required classes)
Past years are a blend of Honors and CP classes, never received anything less than a B- in my entire school career.
I've volunteered tremendously for past 4 years at a local shelter
Good work ethic: steady employee of over 2 years, employee of the month, employee of the year
Strong artistic background: 4 years of drawing classes, 2 of photography, many art awards

I live in New Jersey, 3 hours from the school, and will require financial aid. I am majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology.

Looking at other profiles, I'm feeling pretty lame with my information... But I would love to know if the school considers more than incredibly powerful academics, because I know my essay and recommendations show my really great qualities and individuality.

Thanks guys.

Well, what was your SAT (CR+M)? Otherwise you’re at the 25th percentile for ACT and the GPA is a bit on the low side. If you have strong essays I would say your a good candidate for the school.

Beware that Colgate likes students who can pay.

hmm, sat scores are not that good but if you have incredible extra curriculars, that should help balance it. I think it would be 50-50 for you.
