Hi I am currently a junior in high school and my grades aren't that great. I'm wondering if I have a shot at Quinnipiac.
My GPA is a 2.2 and my SAT scores are a 1790.
Break down is 600 Critical Reading, 570 Math, and 620 on Writing.

I have a ton of extracurriculars and do a lot in my community.
All of my classes are honors or advanced placement.
I have a medical condition that caused me to miss majority of my time in school which is why my grades are so low. I plan to explain that in my essay.

Chance me please?!?!?

Hi fabfourth97,

I would suggest writing your essay about the time you missed at school and why, that way the admissions staff will know what caused your grades to be low. I would also suggest setting up an interview in the summer or fall of your senior year to explain to admissions that situation. They read applications on a case to case basis so its hard to say if a student will be accepted or not without having all the needed documents.

A lot of factors come into play when making decisions. They are rolling admissions so you will want to apply early in your senior year, like October. The later you apply the harder it is to get in.
