Hey! I am currently a senior in high school and I attended the Engineering open house today and I I think today has helped me decide that Rowan's school of Engineering is my #1 choice.

I would prefer to do Mechanical Engineering but I know that their requirements are more rigorous than the other engineering categories. My second choice is Electrical/Computer and my third is Civil. I have a GPA of 3.57, not counting my first quarter of my senior year in which I currently have an A in Calculus and AP physics II, and also am taking my 3rd year of Technology education classes. My SAT score between math and critical reading is a 1240, with a 630 in math and a 610 in reading. I took the SATs again in October and I think I will break 1300 on that one.

Can anyone please tell me my chances of getting accepted into any of these schools? Also, do I have an advantage of applying early? If so, how early would you say I should apply?

Hey, I am a freshman at Rowan now in ChemE. It is likely you would be accepted into all three disciplines at Rowan. They started to accept a lot more engineers as they are expanding past the point of available housing. Your current SAT is golden, but GPA is on the low side - for comparison I was accepted with a 1200 SAT score and 3.69 GPA. If you do raise SAT to 1300, you will receive a very handsome scholarship. Also, applying early as possible will help you because they have rolling admission and space is still limited. Apply as soon as you get your SAT score back if possible.

They will send you scholarship information along with an acceptance letter if you do get accepted automatically. The process could take anywhere between two weeks and two months. For me it took me about a month
