Rolling: Michigan State
Regular: Berkeley, UPenn, Harvard, Yale, Washington St. Louis, Columbia

Thanks!

Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Penn and Columbia are going to be a reach for anyone, but you seem to have a good a shot as any. Michigan seems like a really good match, as does Berkeley. WashU would probably be a safe match, but not quite as safe as the previous schools. Michigan State is a safety without a doubt.

UMich LSA would be a low match near safety for in state with your stat. Ross pre-admission is still a reach due to the competitiveness. You are very likely to get into Ross afterward if not pre-admitted if you do well in freshmen year and write a good essay.

Are you going to need financial aid?

You seem to be in great shape give your Michigan residence and stats. What a luxury to have such a strong safety/match option!

Your piano accomplishments will be impressive, and standing apart from the “stereotypical Asian mold” will help. OOS to UCB seems a bit questionable, especially if you need aid.

I do not need financial aid.
