p.s. I’m sorry, I know this is a lot, but it would be extremely helpful
Just to clarify, my high school is highly competitive and I am 63 out of 435 and our weighted GPA is out of 5 (all A’s in all AP’s would be a 5.0)
- UNC: Chapel Hill reach especially cause you're OOS test scores are just too low
- U of Miami high match your reading and math scores are on the low end of the middle 50% and writing is on the high end I think your GPA gets you in but not sure.
- UC: San Diego Reach hard to get in OOS and SAT is low
- UC: Santa Barbara Reach hard to get in OOS and SAT is low
U of Florida High match again OOS is harder and score is on lower end of the 50% percent
- U of Georgia I think you'll get in
- NC State I think you'll get in
- Cal Poly: SLO don't know a ton about does finance fall under the business school if so then its a high match GPA would be good test scores lower than average
- Colorado: Boulder I think you'll get in
- James Madison I'm fairly confident you'll get in
- San Diego State I think you'll get in.
Overall if you can get the SAT up you might have more possibilities best of luck!

Can you afford the costs of the California schools with no financial aid?
I wish @Gumbymom I can afford the CSUs without aid, but what I meant was that I will not qualify for need-based aid, so if I were to choose a UC I would likely rely on merit aid as well as enrolling in a work study program
UC’s give little merit aid and your stats will probably not qualify for regents which is just a drop in the bucket compared to the $55K/year price tag. I would run the net price calculators for these schools before spending the money on the application fees. Most FA from the schools are need based using Cal Grant/Blue and Gold scholarship (only available to in-state residents). You can take out a federal loan of $5500 Freshman year, but again a drop in the bucket. Work study is only for low income and is need based aid.

Since so many of the schools on your list are OOS, definitely run the net price calculators to see what kind of FA/Merit aid you will receive. Good luck.
@Gumbymom is correct; you need to check the NPC’s for each of your schools. Going into debt for your undergrad is not a good idea.
Try to find schools that will give you merit aid for your stats. Use the college search and selection tool on the left to help you narrow down your list.
Unfortunately, the UC’s won’t do that since they are very competitive and have limited state funds.
Okay thank you for the advice, I will
