I apologize for adding to the seemingly endless supply of “Chance Me” threads, but any input on my chances of getting into Northwestern would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

GPA: 3.97 UW
SAT (New): 1490 Combined, 770 Math, 720 Reading & Writing
APs: World History (4), Lang (5), US History (5), APES (5), Bio (5), Calc AB (3), Currently Taking: Lit, Gov, Chem, Phys 2, and Calc BC
Awards: Harvard Prize Book, Villanova Book Award, AP Scholar with Distinction, Membership in National and French National Honor Societies
Activities: 4 years of volunteering with fish hatchery, internship with Audubon center, Boys State, Orchestra/Jazz Band, Ultimate Frisbee
Essay: good
Recs: I assume also good nothing special, but both the teachers seemed to like me
ETC: Not legacy, haven’t visited, attended an info session at school, from catholic school in Washington State

Forgot to mention, I’m a white male, in upper middle class, intending on bio/pre-med major and am the vice president of my school interact club (service club associated with local rotary). Thanks

You are obviously a solid student, but I don’t think your ECs are going to bowl them over

I think you pass the bar and will not be automatically rejected. If your essay is good, you have decent chance to get in for ED. Please let me know if I’m not correct in December if you do apply

Thank you for your response, but I plan to apply RD. What do you mean by “not automatically rejected” do you mean I I would most likely be deferred or waitlisted.
