Varsity wrestler for 4 years
Parts of history, national, and science honor society
part of young democrats club
have a provisional patent (so patent pending hoping to get a patent)
played piano for over 10 years
black belt in tae kwon do, taught it to the newer kids for two years
Participate in Model United Nations (have won a few awards)
shadowed a doctor for over a hundred hours
two probably good recs
speak 3 languages and have hundreds of hours volunteering at my Iranian School

I have taken 5 AP classes so far and am enrolled in 6 APs this year.
Also have gotten a few 4’s and 5’s on AP exams, but I don’t think W&M cares about them
I think my essays will be good
I interviewed there and that went fine, some hiccups but nothing horrendous

Smart move to go ED. Good luck! You certainly have solid a solid SAT score.

I’d say your chances are good! I got in RD (in-state) while being female with no interview, a slightly lower SAT score, much lower SAT II scores and (in my opinion) less impressive ECs. A 3.94 weighted GPA isn’t the highest considering your course load (average is 4.2), but the other parts of your application seem to balance it out. Good luck & Go Tribe!

Thanks for replying! Yeah I felt as if the weak point would be the GPA. Most my hard classes and good grades came later in sophomore/junior year so it’s my freshman year that is bringing me down. Hopefully they will see the curve up for my GPA.
